The Dryflow™ Revolution: Saying Goodbye to Oil

For decades, the performance filter market was dominated by oiled cotton gauze. While effective, oil brought significant drawbacks. AEM challenged this status quo by introducing Dryflow™ technology—a proprietary synthetic filtration media that requires zero oil to capture dust and debris.

However, a professional ECU tune is always recommended to fully capitalize on the increased airflow.

What happens if I drive through water with a Cold Air Intake?

While standard rain is not an issue, deep puddles can be dangerous if the filter is submerged. To prevent hydrolock, AEM offers an Air Bypass Valve. In the event the primary filter is submerged, this valve opens to draw air from the engine bay, bypassing the water and protecting your engine. Are AEM fuel pumps compatible with Ethanol (E85)?

Yes. AEM produces specific "E85 Compatible" High Flow Fuel Pumps (such as the 340lph series).
