Air duct inlet:

In order to transport the air to the outlet of the brake ventilation system, a suitable inlet is essential. This is not so easy with the Golf 7 and the Seat Leon Cupra 5F. Every space behind the bumper is used and leaves no room for an additional duct without major modifications. However, all vehicles have one thing in common, regardless of the equipment and whether you drive the manual gearbox or DSG: A conveniently located spot on the underbody. At this point, we can easily tap the air flow and at the same time it is not the lowest point. Our duct is fastened with 3 screws and allows a connection via an air hose to our anchor plate. Important: The hose routing must be well thought out and can lead to chafing on the hose after a certain time due to the many steering units up to full lock.

Air duct outlet:

We use the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to utilize the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, we direct the airflow at the disc at a specific angle in order to avoid scattering losses and make maximum efficient use of the available air volume. The lightweight design in combination with powder-coated aluminum makes the component sufficiently strong and at the same time light and robust. The ball joint of your control arm is extremely close to the hot brake disk and will be affected in the long term. This anchor plate therefore has additional shielding for the bearing, thereby increasing its durability.
