The Volkswagen VR6 engine is recognized for its distinctive exhaust note and strong response to forced induction. Maintaining optimal temperatures is essential for both stock and modified VR6 engines.
The Mishimoto racing thermostat is engineered to enhance cooling efficiency by lowering high engine temperatures. Once fully warmed up, this low-temperature thermostat opens at 160°F, compared to the standard 176°F, allowing coolant to circulate sooner and helping to keep engine temperatures lower.
