The Mishimoto performance top-mount intercooler is designed to enhance the capabilities of the 2022+ Subaru WRX. This intercooler allows the FA24 engine to benefit from increased airflow and improved cooling efficiency.

The kit features a significantly upgraded top-mount intercooler and shroud, replacing the stock plastic end tank intercooler with cast-aluminum end tanks and a high-flow core that is 88 percent larger than the original. The larger core volume provides over 40 percent better flow than stock, reducing strain on the turbo and increasing cold air delivery to the engine. The core also features 76 percent more fin surface area, improving heat transfer and maintaining outlet temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient. The shroud is scaled up to expose the entire core to fresh air from the WRX's hood scoop. A pre-drilled, tapped, and plugged 1/8-NPT port is included for easy addition of temperature or boost pressure sensors.

Installation Notes: Upon removal of factory intercooler, inspect the OEM inlet gasket and replace with Subaru part number 21896AA150 if any areas appear damaged or warped.
