The Mishimoto direct-fit top-mount intercooler is designed to reduce high intake temperatures on both stock and modified 2008-2021 Subaru WRX STI models. Mishimoto engineers developed and tested this STI TMIC for optimal performance on the street and track. The intercooler features durable cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a dense bar-and-plate core.

This intercooler has a 3.75\" thick core and a total volume of 584 in³. The dense offset fin pitch and large volume optimize heat transfer and support vehicles from stock up to 400 whp. Testing showed a 10°F temperature drop and a bolt-on power increase of +5 whp and +7 wtq on a stock test vehicle.

Installation is straightforward, requires no modification to the stock A/C line, and can be completed in under 30 minutes. The intercooler is available in Stealth Black or Sleek Silver powder-coated finishes.

Note: This kit is rated for 250-450 whp with maximum limits of approximately 500 whp, or 30 PSI of turbo boost. Exceeding these limits may require a larger front-mount intercooler.
