The Mishimoto direct-fit top-mount intercooler is designed to reduce high intake temperatures on both stock and modified 2008-2021 Subaru WRX STI models. Mishimoto engineers developed and tested this STI TMIC for optimal performance on the street and track. The intercooler features durable cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a dense bar-and-plate core.

This intercooler has a 3.75\" thick core and a total volume of 584 in³. With its dense offset fin pitch, it optimizes heat transfer and supports vehicles from stock up to 400 whp. Testing showed a 10°F temperature drop and a bolt-on power increase of +5 whp and +7 wtq on a stock test vehicle.

Installation is straightforward, requiring no modification to the stock A/C line and can be completed in under 30 minutes. The kit includes all necessary gaskets and hoses for installation, ensuring reliable service. The intercooler is available in Stealth Black or Sleek Silver powder-coated finishes.

Note: This kit is rated for 250-450 whp with maximum limits of approximately 500 whp or 30 PSI of turbo boost. Exceeding these limits may require a larger front-mount intercooler.
