Add reliability and engine bay styling with the Mishimoto Ford Mustang EcoBoost, V6, V8 Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank. This expansion tank features internal baffles to prevent coolant starvation from overflow ports to the engine. During high-speed cornering, braking, and acceleration, the internal baffles also reduce coolant sloshing.

A sight glass is included to allow for proper hot and cold coolant level checks. The Mishimoto Expansion Tank is available in polished or anodized black finishes and installs in under one hour. It is designed to work with the stock expansion tank cap and includes an overflow nipple on the fill neck for adding an additional coolant tank to meet NHRA requirements. Constructed from TIG-welded aluminum, this tank offers durability and longevity compared to plastic expansion tanks. Engineered for perfect fitment in the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, V6, and V8.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Recommendation: After a few hot and cold cycles, Mishimoto recommends checking the sight glass on the side of the expansion tank to confirm proper coolant level.
