Proper oil temperatures are essential for engine longevity and performance, whether the vehicle is a daily driven Corvette or a built Mustang. The Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate with Rear-Mounted Thermostat helps maintain optimal oil temperatures. This high-flow sandwich plate is made from lightweight CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum for precision and quality.

The internal oil thermostat restricts flow to the heat exchanger until the activation temperature is reached, improving warm-up while maintaining efficient cooling. Its compact design and rear-mounted thermostat allow installation in tight engine bays where space is limited by exhaust or other components. The sandwich plate features two 1/8-inch NPT ports for temperature or pressure sensors. The included M22 x 1.5 adapter allows fitment on various GM LSX vehicles and Ford V8 engines, including the 4.6L, 5.4L, and Coyote 5.0L.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to ensure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
