Description MISHIMOTO MMOP-SPT Oil Sandwich Plate with Thermostatic M20
This Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate is a lightweight, high-flow sandwich plate constructed from 6061 aluminum. The built-in thermostat prevents oil flow to the cooler until the engine oil reaches the activating temperature, allowing for faster warmup at startup and added oil system protection in cold climates.
The included 185 degree Fahrenheit thermostat can be replaced with a 160 or 200 degree unit, providing control over the desired engine oil operating temperature.
Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends that all connections be checked at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
