Bearing damage is a serious concern for any high-performance or high-mileage engine. Mishimoto Magnetic Oil Drain Plugs remove metal fragments in engine oil, helping to extend and protect engine life.

These oil drain plugs are constructed from billet 6061 aluminum and feature a powerful neodymium magnet. The magnet seizes and collects bearing or other harmful metallic fragments in engine oil, effectively removing them from circulation. The drain plug includes a robust 24 mm hex head and precise, durable threads for consistent use without stripping. A dependable dowty seal is included for superior protection against leaks.

Installation Notes: 15 lb-ft for all magnetic oil drain plugs. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 15 lb-ft.

Note: Aftermarket, non-OEM oil pans may allow the magnet of this drain plug to come in contact with the oil pump screen due to aftermarket pans having less clearance than OEM. This can cause the plug to not seat fully and result in a leak or a stripped plug.
