The Mishimoto Aluminum Oil Catch Can is designed to prevent harmful oil buildup inside the turbocharger, intake manifold, intercooler, and piping. This catch can stops oil from entering pressurized turbo plumbing and prevents oil vapors from reaching the intake system, which could otherwise lower combustion temperatures and reduce overall efficiency.

The polished Mishimoto Aluminum Oil Catch Can is supplied as a complete kit, including a mounting bracket, hose, all necessary clamps, fittings, and mounting hardware. This makes it a suitable upgrade for both performance and aesthetics. Mishimoto catch cans are not heated, allowing all blow-by, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors, to condense in the can. Unlike most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems that drain blow-by back into the oil pan, Mishimoto catch cans trap blow-by and keep it out of the engine permanently.
