Proper oil temperature regulation is essential for extending and preserving the life of both stock and high performance engines. The Mishimoto universal oil cooler kit helps maintain optimal oil temperatures and offers additional protection against oil degradation. This kit is suitable for most vehicles and includes all necessary components for effective oil temperature reduction.

The kit features a billet anodized aluminum sandwich plate, available in standard or thermostatic versions. The optional thermostatic sandwich plate provides enhanced temperature control by restricting oil flow to the cooler until optimal temperatures are reached, making it suitable for cooler climates. The included Mishimoto 19 row stacked plate cooler is designed to withstand high fluid pressures and significantly reduce oil temperatures with minimal pressure loss.

This kit comes with both -16 and M20-1.5 sandwich plate adapters for compatibility with most makes and models. Pre-assembled stainless steel braided oil lines with -10AN fittings and dowty seals ensure durable, leak-free connections. The Mishimoto universal oil cooler kit is engineered to deliver efficiency for a wide range of applications.

Note: Mishimoto fully inspects and cleans all products prior to packaging. However, it is recommended that customers flush the oil cooler with one quart of clean oil prior to installation to remove any debris accumulated during shipping.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
