Front license plates can create drag and, on the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86, are mounted in the center of the front bumper, partially blocking the lower grille. This placement increases wind resistance and restricts airflow to the radiator.

The Mishimoto License Plate Relocation Kit addresses these issues by relocating the plate to the side, freeing up the center grille area for improved airflow. The kit is constructed from high-strength, anodized and powder-coated 6061-aluminum, and mounts directly to the OEM tow hook location for a clean, seamless fit.
