Enhance the cooling efficiency of the 2018-2023 Kia Stinger GT with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit. The Stinger, powered by the Lambda II GDI 3.3T, offers a strong platform, but the factory intercooling system can be a limiting factor. This kit replaces the entire intercooling system from the turbo to the throttle body to optimize airflow.

The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler features a robust bar and plate core, TIG-welded to cast aluminum end tanks, replacing the original tube and fin core with plastic end tanks. The core has been expanded for a 94-percent increase in volume and a 74-percent increase in external fin surface area. The aluminum piping retains the stock material but increases the inner diameter to 3 inches for improved flow and minimal pressure drop. The piping merger manifold has been overhauled, with inlets increased to 2 inches and the outlet to 3 inches, resulting in a 51-percent boost in flow from the turbos, while maintaining compatibility with the stock recirculation valves. The piping kit is finished in a micro-wrinkle black powder coat and uses 5-layer silicone couplers.

On the dyno, the larger piping diameters and increased intercooler size resulted in a 29°F drop in outlet temperatures, with gains of 8whp and 8wtq on stock tuning. With a stage 1 map tune, a 41°F drop in outlet temperature and additional gains of 6whp and 8wtq were recorded.

Note: Installation of this kit requires permanent modification to the front air guide shrouding, part number 29135-J5000.
