Mishimoto introduces the Performance Cat-back Exhaust for the 2015+ Subaru WRX/STI. The stock cat-back exhaust system is often criticized for its lack of aggressiveness. Installing the Mishimoto Performance Stainless Steel Cat-back allows the exhaust system to breathe more freely, resulting in increased horsepower, torque, and a deeper exhaust tone.

After evaluating various muffler sizes and designs, Mishimoto engineers selected oval mufflers to minimize highway drone while maintaining an aggressive exhaust note. Dyno testing on the 2015+ Subaru WRX/STI with CVT showed gains of up to 9 whp and 8 wtq using 93 octane fuel, while keeping AFRs safe on a stock tune. The system installs in under one hour and features quad 3.5-inch staggered double wall polished tips.

The cat-back is constructed as a four-piece design with precision TIG welded 304 stainless steel, providing smooth exhaust flow from the 3.0-inch 2-bolt flange through the 2.25-inch y-section. The kit includes all necessary stainless steel hardware and clamps to prevent rust. Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty is included.

Note: Mishimoto does not recommend installing this cat-back exhaust and the Mishimoto Performance Air Intake with the stock ECU programming. It is recommended that the vehicle's ECU is retuned after installing the cat-back exhaust and the intake. Power gains will vary depending on the type of ECU tune applied.
