The VQ35DE engine has been a reliable powerplant in many Nissan and Infiniti models. The Mishimoto 2003-2006 Nissan 350Z and 2004-2007 Infiniti G35 Direct Fit Catch Can Kit is designed to protect intake components from blow-by, which can cause carbon buildup and reduce power and efficiency.

This kit features a single 6061 aluminum tall catch can that installs in line with the VQ35DE's PCV system using chemical-resistant, OEM-style flat black hoses and CNC-machined aluminum fittings. The catch can is mounted with a sturdy, application-specific bracket that also serves as a new mount for the power steering reservoir. Inside the can, an internal baffle and air diverters aid in condensation and collection of oil droplets and fuel vapors, while a 50-micron bronze filter traps rogue oil droplets. Viton O-rings seal the can to keep collected contaminants contained.

Mishimoto catch cans are not heated, allowing all blow-by to condense inside. Each kit is covered by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Note: This kit is not compatible with Canadian spec vehicles equipped with daytime running lights. Please ensure that your vehicle does not have the DRL module before installing this kit.

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch can every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.
