The K&N 77-2579KTK high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for select Ford F150 SVT Raptor models. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing, reducing air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow.
The improved air flow allows the engine to take in a larger volume of air compared to the stock intake, resulting in more usable power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The intake includes a K&N high-flow air filter, heat shield, and a replacement coolant reservoir that installs in the previous air box location. The intake tube features a textured black powder-coat finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor, EVAP hose, and crank case vent hose.
The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less with basic hand tools using existing factory mounting points.
