Description K&N 50-1542 Cold Air Intake System
The K&N 50-1542 Cold Air Intake System is designed for Dodge Charger models equipped with the 5.7L V8 engine, featuring NextGen intake technology engineered to increase airflow volume and enhance overall engine performance. A rotationally molded high-density polyethylene tube delivers a 16.7% airflow gain, supporting an estimated increase of 23.5 horsepower and 18.39 lb-ft of torque without requiring an ECU tune. The system incorporates a reusable High-Flow oiled cotton air filter and a semi-enclosed NextGen airbox that helps shield intake air from engine bay heat. Its streamlined design reduces hardware complexity, allowing a typical installation time of under 60 minutes.
