The K&N Airforce Pre-Cleaner is a specially designed foam filter wrap intended to extend the service interval of K&N air filters in very dusty conditions. The Airforce Pre-Cleaner can be cleaned using K&N Cleaner or soap and water.

Red Airforce pre-cleaners are oiled with K&N air filter oil after cleaning and are made from large, open cell foam. Gray Airforce pre-cleaners do not use oil and feature smaller foam cells.
