The OEM engine cover designed by Fiat has an incorporated factory airbox housed within the cover itself. This meant for many people, upgrading their induction kit would result in completely removing your engine cover.

Now, with the release of carbon fibre engine cover, FMEC4, Abarth owners can enjoy the power and performance of improved induction without having to sacrifice the aesthetic appearance of their engine bay! Forge designed engine cover to fit perfectly alongside induction kit FMINDF500, purposefully using carbon fibre as the material to compliment the carbon fibre canister of the induction kit.

Forge used influence from the design of the original engine cover, so that FMEC4 will really compliment the aesthetics of the engine bay.

The carbon fibre really helps to give the engine bay some character, blending in nicely with the carbon cannister of the Forge Motorsport induction kit. The high-quality carbon fibre is prepreg 2x2 twill formed in an autoclave from billet tooling and finished with an anti UV gloss gel coat. The kit comes complete with everything you need for installation. Fitting can be carried out in around 1 hour.

The Forge range of carbon fibre products are manufactured to the highest standards utilising the absolute best materials available. However, in certain applications and in areas of extreme temperature, this can lead to discolouration or fading (yellowing) of the carbon fibre. Unfortunately, due to this harsh and extreme environment, your Forge carbon fibre is not warrantied for that eventuality.
