The CrateMuffler is designed to optimize both sound and power for crate and custom-built engines. This muffler features a directional design, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is specifically tuned for the Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth Big Block 383, 413, 426, and 440 CID V8 engine family.

The directional construction delivers the classic S-Type sound and significantly reduces or eliminates drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400938 can achieve a Touring sound profile. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, offering superior performance and durability compared to T-400 series materials.
