Description BORLA 400851 Crate Mufflers S-Type 2.5\" x 2.5\" GM Stock 396 CID

BORLA's CrateMuffler is designed to optimize both sound and power for crate and custom-built motors. This muffler is directional, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is specifically tuned for the Chevrolet Big Block 396, 402, and 427 CID V8 engine family.

The directional design delivers the classic S-Type sound and significantly reduces or eliminates drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400938 allows for a Touring sound. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, which offers enhanced performance and durability compared to T-400 series materials.
