Description BORLA 400849 Crate Mufflers S-Type 2.25\" x 2.25\" GM Stock 283 / 327 / 350 CID
BORLA's CrateMuffler is the first muffler designed specifically to optimize the sound and power of crate and custom-built engines. These mufflers are directional, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. This model is tuned for the Chevrolet Small Block 283, 327, and 350 CID V8 engine family.
The directional design delivers the classic S-Type sound and can significantly reduce or eliminate drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400937 will achieve the Touring sound. The muffler features a 2.25\" offset inlet, 2.25\" center outlet, 4.35\" x 9.10\" oval shape, 14\" long body, and 19\" overall length.
