This muffler is developed for truck applications and other uses that require a long body muffler. It is considered an \"S-Type\" muffler when compared to the 7.75\" diameter x 24\" long body BORLA Specialty mufflers and is used on the same applications.

The muffler features notched necks for clamp-in installation using 1\" wide band style clamps 18330 (clamps not included). Its reversible design allows for installation flexibility. The construction uses high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel that will not rust, with 100% welded construction for strength. The free flow design aims to improve performance, and high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material is used for sound control. The natural mill finish can be brushed or polished before installation. An alternate muffler with un-notched necks is 400436. For clamping, use 3\" wide band clamps 18006.
