This transverse flow muffler was originally designed for GM F-Body Camaros and Firebirds, where it mounts behind the rear axle and runs parallel to the axle. It can also be used to create custom exhaust systems on other vehicles. The muffler features a single 2.5\" offset inlet and dual 2.5\" offset outlets, with the inlet and one outlet on one end, and the second outlet on the opposite end.

Notched necks allow for clamp-on installation using 1\" wide band style clamps, which are not included. The reversible design offers installation flexibility. Constructed from high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, it is 100% welded for strength and durability. The free flow design is intended for improved performance, while high-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic material provides sound control. The muffler has a natural mill finish that can be brushed or polished before installation.
