Developing systems for the C8 Corvette presented unique challenges, but the engineering team addressed them successfully. This 3\" inlet Cat-Back system includes both AFM (2020-2021) / DFM (2022-2025) valves and NPP dual mode exhaust valves. The S-Type sound delivers a powerful, balanced tone with no drone inside the vehicle, enhancing the driving experience.

The system features Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire technology. The Polyphonic Harmonizer uses patented units with pipes of varying diameters and lengths to create multiple harmonized exhaust notes. The SwitchFire design eliminates the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, blending combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom sound.

Strategically placed heat shielding helps prevent exhaust heat damage and protects the Corvette. The system includes quad 4\" round bright chrome tips on T-304 stainless steel, with options for black chrome or carbon fiber tips. Constructed from T-304 stainless steel, the system ships in two boxes. After installation, recalibration of the AFM/DFM and NPP valve controllers is recommended according to GM Document ID 5406413.
