Borla has developed an exhaust technology that allows engineers to achieve precise, vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note throughout the RPM range, while maintaining the power-adding capabilities of Borla's patented multicore design.

Known as ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), this technology delivers the highest available decibel levels in the Borla street-legal lineup and is intended for high-performance enthusiasts who prioritize exhaust sound. ATAK focuses on increasing volume while preserving sound clarity and avoiding the distortion typically found in louder exhausts. Each ATAK system is developed through extensive study of the vehicle’s acoustical properties, with muffler cores custom-tuned for each application.

The system features single mirror polished 4\" round angle-cut rolled edge 12\" long bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler. A Merge X-Pipe (PN 60510) can be added. All Borla Cat-Back and Axle-Back systems are handmade in the USA from premium T-304 stainless steel, with mandrel bent piping and a Million-Mile Warranty.
