Ford enhanced the performance of the 1999-2004 Supercharged 390-horsepower Mustang Cobra. BORLA Performance Industries, selected by Ford SVT as the factory exhaust supplier for the last Mustang Cobra R, has further refined this model with a custom-tuned exhaust featuring bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips.

BORLA engineers developed and balanced the complete system based on the Ford ECU strategy, allowing the engine to breathe freely without disrupting the on-board engine management. The Cat-Back system (PN 140052) is a full dual setup with 2.5\" aerospace grade T-304 austenitic stainless steel mandrel bends, providing straight-through exhaust flow and supporting future aftermarket upgrades.

This system is aggressive and designed to deliver pure power. A less aggressive, traditional system based on the Cobra R (PN 14858) is also available, offering identical performance gains. BORLA utilizes patented technology and high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel for quality, sound, performance gains, and enhanced fuel economy, all with easy bolt-on installation.
