This 2.5\" diameter Axle-Back system is designed for vehicles without the Ground Effects Package (GFX) and features single 4.5\" polished T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler assembly. The system incorporates a unique exhaust technology that allows precise, vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note throughout the RPM range, while maintaining the power-adding benefits of the patented multicore design.

ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) technology delivers the highest available decibel levels in the street-legal lineup, catering to high-performance enthusiasts who prioritize exhaust sound. The system is tuned to maximize volume while preserving sound clarity and avoiding distortion. Internal muffler cores are custom-calibrated for each vehicle to achieve the most desirable sound characteristics.

The Axle-Back system retains the stock front muffler, so the full ATAK sound is not realized, but it remains louder than the S-Type. Adding the X-Pipe with Mid-Pipes (part number 60512) converts the system to a Cat-Back configuration. Each exhaust is handmade in the USA from T-304 austenitic stainless steel, with mandrel bent piping and mirror-polished tips.
