Description ARP 207-5401 Main Stud Kit for MITSUBISHI EVO 2.0 16V (4G63)
The ARP main stud kit is designed to provide superior engine block stability by securely fastening the main caps under high load conditions. By replacing standard bolts with high-strength studs, it helps eliminate main cap walk and fretting while protecting the threads in the engine block.
- 8740 chrome moly steel construction for high strength and durability
- Heat-treated to 190,000 psi tensile strength
- Reduces main cap walk and prevents fretting
- Protects engine block threads from wear and damage
- Precision rolled J-form threads for increased strength
- Includes hardened parallel-ground washers and high-quality nuts
- Optional windage tray mounting with standoff studs and serrated lock nuts
- Improves engine stability under high load conditions
