The AMS AMS.00.07.0002-1 Universal Flex Fuel CAN Bus Box enables seamless integration of flex fuel capability into virtually any performance application. Designed to support pump gas, E50, E85, E98, or any intermediate ethanol blend, this unit provides a reliable platform for DIY flex fuel system construction. By transmitting real-time ethanol content data to the ECU, it allows optimal fuel and ignition adjustments under varying conditions.
The CAN Bus Box is housed in an IP54-rated dust and water-resistant enclosure, ensuring durability in harsh environments. It supports up to three additional 0–5v analog inputs for critical monitoring and failsafe integration, making it adaptable for logging parameters such as fuel pressure or coolant pressure. A universal harness with over 8 feet of flame-retardant XLPE-sleeved wiring simplifies installation while maintaining professional-grade reliability. Included documentation provides CAN protocol specifications and pinout details for straightforward system configuration.
