When unrestricted exhaust flow is required, the AMS Race Downpipes are engineered to deliver significant horsepower gains, faster turbo response, and long-term reliability. Designed with advanced CAD modeling and manufactured from premium cast stainless steel, these downpipes offer a balance of performance, sound, and OEM-like fitment.

AMS Race Downpipes utilize robust cast construction for superior strength and durability compared to pie-cut or multi-welded fabricated designs. The large 90mm (3.5”) primary section ensures optimal exhaust flow, while thick ½” stainless steel flanges provide a leak-free seal. Each downpipe is precision TIG welded and bolts directly to the stock mid-pipe or most aftermarket systems.

By reducing exhaust restriction, these downpipes allow turbochargers to operate more efficiently, resulting in substantial horsepower and torque gains throughout the powerband. In-house testing with upgraded turbos demonstrated power gains of 100 wheel horsepower and over 130 ft lbs of torque, with turbo spool-up improved by almost 400rpm.
