This exhaust system is constructed using lightweight titanium for the end cap, muffler bracket, and muffler outer sleeve, while stainless steel is used for the link pipe and the internal structure of the muffler. A carbon-fibre heatshield mounted on the link pipe is designed to protect the rider and riding equipment from heat exposure.

The muffler features a specially profiled surface that increases structural strength for improved durability, while delivering a sporty appearance inspired by rally-raid motorcycles. Performance testing on the Akrapovič in-house dynamometer recorded power gains of 2.6 kW (3.6 hp) at 6,800 rpm and torque increases of 3.6 Nm at 6,800 rpm compared to the standard exhaust system. The system produces a deep and sporty sound from the twin-cylinder engine.

The exhaust is designed for plug-and-play installation with no ECU remapping required. It is EC/ECE type approved, Euro 5+ compliant, compatible with stock panniers, and finished with an Akrapovič logo sticker on the muffler.
