This exhaust system is constructed using lightweight titanium for the end cap, muffler bracket, and muffler outer sleeve, while stainless steel is utilized for the link pipe and the internal structure of the muffler. A carbon-fibre heatshield mounted on the link pipe provides effective thermal protection for both the rider and riding equipment.

The muffler features a specially designed reinforced surface profile that increases structural strength and durability while delivering a distinctive sporty appearance inspired by rally-raid motorcycles. Race-proven materials contribute to a significant weight reduction of 47.4% (2.4 kg) compared to the standard exhaust system. The exhaust produces a deep and sporty sound characteristic of the 799 cc engine.

Performance testing on the Akrapovič in-house dynamometer recorded gains of +0.7 kW (+1.0 hp) and +2.4 Nm at 3,500 rpm compared to the stock system. The plug-and-play design allows installation without ECU remapping. The system is EC/ECE type approved, Euro 5+ compliant, compatible with stock panniers, and finished with an Akrapovič logo sticker on the muffler.
