Linear Displacement Measurement Sensor for AiM Loggers

AiM loggers utilize a linear potentiometer sensor to measure displacement between two points via direct mechanical connection. This sensor is ideal for applications requiring precise linear displacement data such as damper compression and extension or steering rotation via rack displacement. The AiM ECLIPSE potentiometers feature M4x0.7mm male threads on both ends for secure mounting.

Installation guidelines emphasize careful handling to avoid bending the internal cylinder, which can occur from over-tightening or improper mounting. The internal cylinder should be extended approximately 5 mm from the sensor’s lower boundary. The sensor is designed to measure displacements within its maximum travel range and is not suitable for exceeding this limit.
