Tubular Subframes: Minus Weight, Plus Rigidity

Verkline's flagship products are their front and rear subframes. Factory subframes are made of heavy stamped steel or cast aluminum and often flex under load.
Verkline subframes are hand-welded from Chromoly (Cromo 4130) tubing and Doocol steel.
What does this deliver?

Geometry Correction: Roll Center & Bump Steer

When you lower a car with coilovers, the control arms angle upwards. This drops the Roll Center underground, causing increased body roll and introducing Bump Steer (the car steers itself over bumps).
Verkline aluminum Uprights (Knuckles) and adjustable control arms feature corrected mounting points. They return the arms to the correct horizontal position even when lowered.

You can, but be prepared for compromises. Spherical bearings transmit more NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) into the cabin. You will hear the suspension and transmission working. Also, Uniballs require protection from salt and dirt (dust boots) to last a long time.

Is modification required for installation?

Most Verkline parts are designed as Plug & Play. They utilize factory chassis mounting points. You don't need to cut or weld anything. However, a professional wheel alignment is absolutely mandatory after installation.
