• Forged Pistons (Manley or JE Pistons): Original pistons remain the primary weak point. Installing Manley forged components allows the engine to withstand detonation loads and high combustion chamber temperatures, critical for Stage 2+ projects.
• ARP Head Studs: Using ARP 260-4701 head studs guarantees a stable head-to-block clamp, eliminating the risk of head lifting at boost pressures exceeding 1.3 bar.

We recommend installing an HKS Front Mount Intercooler or a high-performance TMIC from CSF. A vital addition is an HKS oil cooler with a thermostat, which keeps oil temperatures within 100°C. To balance block temperatures, we also offer the Cylinder 4 Cooling Mod, preventing local overheating of the fourth cylinder.
